Come out and enjoy a pint or two while the Monroe Muskrat Masher Homebrew Club demonstrates the art of homebrewing. In 1988, the 1st Saturday in May was announced before Congress as National Homebrew Day. The in American Homebrewers Association created Big Brew as an annual event to celebrate National Homebrew Day worldwide. The Monroe Muskrat Mashers will be brewing this year at the Michigan Wine and Beer Portal on May 4th to celebrate this event.
There will be various brewers set up alongside the beautiful River Raisin so if you're interested in learning how to homebrew, or just want to learn more about the hobby we would be happy to answer any questions that you may have.
