Big Bold and Barbequed: Wines for Grilled Delights

The splendid weather that ushered in the Bank Holiday Weekend will have had many of you reaching for a box of matches and sparking up the BBQ. The warmer weather gets us outside and while Riesling and Rosé go great with tuna steak, burgers and bangers and big hunks of meat need to matched by wines of scale. We will run the gamut of wines for the patio, the back garden, the park or terrace; chilled reds, flavour bombs, zest fests, and damn drinkable bottles for BBQ time.

Our shop tastings start at 7.30pm and run for approximately one-and-a-half to two hours. We will taste 6-8 wines on a theme, and bread, cheese and charcuterie is provided to match with the wines. Due to the communal nature of the tasting, we are unable to cater for dietary requirements.
