What is Big Bike Revival?

The Big Bike Revival helps adults start cycling or ride again. We run FREE events, workshops, and training sessions. Events offer opportunities to get your cycle fixed, learn new skills or take part in a local led ride. Local grassroots organisations run these events across England, making cycling available to all.

Bowland Bikes CIC are a delivery partner for Cycling UK's Big Bike Revival. We are running Bike Kitchen events and Learn to Fix events.

What is Learn to Fix?

At a learn to fix session, we teach you how to perform regular mainenance on your bike. This inmcliudes things like

• Regular maintenance checks
• Cleaning your bike
• Avoiding punctures
• Checking and chaniging wearable parts
• Adjustibng cable tension
• Fitting new cables

Our sessions are run by experienced facilitators who are equally as skilled in education and training as they are in bike maintenance.

Every bike is slightly different, so we focus on equipping you with the knowledge and skills you need for your bike.

We can work with road legal eBikes, but don't cover maintenance of electrical components in these courses.
