Big Bike Revival 2026 - Road Confidence

Sheffield Cycle Tours have partnered with Cycling UK to offer learn to ride events as part of the Big Bike Revival 2026.

If you’re ready to ride on roads and take short journeys – like to work, the shops or your friend’s house – we can help with that too.

These sessions take you on quiet routes, such as:

• Residential streets
• Cycle lanes and shared paths
• Bridleways and park routes

You’ll learn how to cycle alongside traffic, navigate junctions and feel confident around other road users. It’s all about giving you real-world skills, so you can make cycling part of your everyday life.

We have limited cycle hire available for those who need a bike. Helmets are included with cycle hire. If you cannot select a bike hire then we have sold out.

What's the catch?

All that Cycling UK want in return is your contact information so they can send you 2 short surveys. The more people who complete the survey, the more funding they get, and the more free events they can sponsor!

When are the events?

• Friday 5th June │ 13:00 - 16:00
• Monday 20th July │ 13:00 - 16:00
• Monday 10th August │ 13:00 - 16:00

Where does this event take place?

Events will begin at Love Square near the City Centre.
