The Big Band Bash featuring the DMV All-Star Big Band is a high-energy celebration honoring the trumpet legends of past, present, and future. Led by bandleader Tyler Makowiecki, the DMV All-Star Big Band is an 18-piece powerhouse ensemble made up of elite musicians from across the DMV music scene. The program draws from the fiery, virtuosic catalogs of trumpet greats such as Wayne Bergeron, Maynard Ferguson, Conrad Gozzo, and Arturo Sandoval, among many others—delivering soaring high notes, blazing solos, and electrifying big band energy.
