Urban Axes Boston was slated to host a Doubles Marathon league on Saturday, Nov. 16th, but we unfortunately haven't reached the minimum number of 6 teams need to run that format. It was suggested to us by some of the players registered that we convert the marathon into a Big Axe Marathon League, so we've decided to change the format of Saturday's marathon to Big Axe! We hated to cancel outright and hope this change will allow folks to still throw on Saturday.
Each team player will throw 20 Standard Rules Big Axe matches + double elimination playoff matches! We need a minimum of 8 members to run the marathon league, and everyone will make the playoffs! Practice is at 10:30am and matches begin at 11am. So grab your Big Axe and join us for our Big Axe Marathon League!
