Big Al’s Breakfast
We loved Big Al and his legendary annual poker runs.
It’s now 10 years since his passing and to celebrate the memory of what he did for our hot rod & classic car community, we are holding a show n shine and casual coastal cruise down to Freo in 6 weeks time.
In the tradition of his events, car entry to the show field will be for vehicles originally made in 1978 or before. Proceeds from the gate entry ($20 per car/ute) will be donated to a children’s charity. This year it will be Variety WA and the amount raised will be posted later in this FB page. There will be a raffle for a bunch of Big Al merch and a people’s choice trophy will be awarded.
Gates open at 8am for the show n shine. Cruise to Freo starts at 10am.
Coffee and breakfast items on sale from 8:15. We expect the cruise to finish by 12 in the old Captain Munchies car park.
There is very limited public parking for spectators at Valley Social. So we recommend spectators see the cars arrive at the old Captain Munchies site in Beach St Freo around 11:45am.
