As we have spent the last few months paddling through puddles, and missing the round warm ball in the sky, we thought we would cheer you up with some more completely immature add ons to the soapbox derby 5th July 2026 😊. So, we are pleased to announce that this year, we are introducing Slap and Dunk board and the time catching paddle 🤣.
The idea of the slap and dunk board is simple, last human standing from the opposing team, wins 5 seconds off there fastest soapbox time.
The time catching paddle, one team member needs to paddle around the 4 point course, to collect the 4 ribbons, if the course is completed, that team get 5 seconds taken off their fastest time 🤩.
