Honor, remember, and gather with your community this Memorial Day.Join neighbors, veterans, and local leaders for the annual Biddeford-Saco Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 25, 2026, as we come together to remember and honor the service members who gave their lives for our country.
The parade begins at 10:00 AM on Main Street at Saco City Hall and concludes around 11:00 AM at Veterans Memorial Park in Biddeford, where a closing ceremony will take place.
This year’s Grand Marshal, Don Chretien, a retired U.S. Marine Corps helicopter pilot and Biddeford author, will be recognized alongside featured speaker Kayla Lewis, a U.S. Navy veteran and local advocate for veterans and community development.
A meaningful tradition of the day includes a pause at General Nutting Bridge, where veterans and city officials will place a memorial wreath into the Saco River to honor those lost at sea and recognize the service of Navy and Coast Guard members.
