BICZ Evening Meetup at The Rose

Let's spend the evening chatting comics, drawing comics, and making zines at The Rose's Studio space! Share what you've been working on , ask fellow artists for tips and advice, and more! Maybe the Phantom will show up and serenade us...

We will also chat about what's new and coming up for BICZ, such as our current call for submissions for The JAM: A BICZ Mag. You can ask questions, talk about your ideas, and ask for help with formatting your submissions.

Supplies are included, but you are welcome to bring your own kit and works in progress.

Brampton Indie Comics & Zines (BICZ) is a Brampton collective that celebrates local indie comics, zines, and art. BICZ believes in accessible and DIY self-publishing, hands-on creation, and collaboration, all of which are more necessary than ever in the current landscape of economic and social uncertainty, AI, and isolation. By providing a fun and safe space to learn, create, and collaborate with one another, BICZ hopes to foster Brampton’s indie comics and zines community.
