Cycle & Sustain is offering a guided bike tour along the Isar and neighbourhoods - we are going to learn about river ecology, natural flood dynamics in the floodplains of the Isar and the restoration of the river within an urban setting. We will hear about hydropower on the river, geothermal energy and some urban transformation projects, such as upcycling at Bahnwärter Thiel and Alte Utting.
We conclude the tour at Stemmerhof, an old farm building encircled by urban development, and have a cosy picnic on the meadow.
