Join us as we bicycle from St. Fabian Church to the Car & Bike Show at Ward Church-Farmington Hills, then back to St. Fabian. Total distance will be approximately 11 miles round trip. All ages welcome, under 16 must be accompanied by a parent, grandparent, or guardian. Registration at 9:30 am, roll out at 10:00 am. Bicycles, e-bikes/trikes/recumbents only, no gas-powered vehicles for this bike ride. There is NO SAG SUPPORT on this ride. HELMETS REQUIRED, NO EXCEPTIONS.
We will bike to Ward Church on Halsted Rd in Farmington Hills, stay for approximately 30-45 minutes to enjoy the Car & Bike Show (there will be food and beverages available for purchase), then return to St. Fabian. Riders should be able to bike at a sustained minimum speed of 9 mph. We will be riding on paved residential streets and on sidewalks along 12 Mile,13 Mile, and Drake Roads.
CARES of Farmington Hills (https://caresfh.org), a non-profit organization that assists those in our community facing food insecurity, will be accepting non-perishable food donations at the beginning of the bike ride. At the Car & Bike Show, monetary donations to CARES will also be accepted.
