January 29, 2025 marks 200 years from the incorporation of the City of Vicksburg on January 29, 1825. We will celebrate this historic day with a series of events on the actual Bicentennial date and two days following.
The Vicksburg 200 Bicentennial Committee invites business firms, schools, churches, and service clubs from the surrounding area to enter floats in the 2025 Bicentennial Parade. The first-ever local parade to travel through the Vicksburg Convention Center! Yes, for the first time ever, we will have both outdoor and indoor parade viewing areas!
