JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR
Rehearsals: June 22 – July 16
Performances: July 19 – July 26
Seeking 10–15 local performers for our onstage chorus.
This is a staged choir integrated directly into the production. Rehearsals are fewer but extend across the rehearsal window to accommodate summer schedules. You will be visible, active, and part of the storytelling.
Rehearsal Structure
Each show rehearses in approximately 3.5 weeks.
Typical rehearsal blocks:
10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Not all performers are called at all times. However, strong availability during the rehearsal window is essential. Summer in Ely is full. If you choose to audition, we ask that you be prepared to prioritize the production schedule.
This is fast, focused work. It is also deeply collaborative and rooted in community.
If you are ready to build something artistically brave in Ely this summer, we look forward to seeing you in the room.
This program is sponsored by Boundary Waters Connect.
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
