Bi+ Community Perth and Bar Love present our annual Bi Visibility Day Drinks for 2025! Come along to celebrate your identity this Bi Visibility Day. This will be a pure expression of Bi+ joy at a welcoming, queer friendly and bi+ owned venue free from biphobia, homophobia, and judgement to celebrate exactly who you are. No dress code, no labels, no pressure, just a welcoming, safe, and joyful space to meet and celebrate together.
This event is open to all multi-gender attracted folks, and inclusive of all gender identities. If you're bisexual, pansexual, polysexual, omnisexual, panromantic, biromantic, heteroflexible, homoflexible, fluid, curious, you haven't found a label, or you prefer to not use labels at all? This event is the place to find your people. We use bi+ as the umbrella term for all those identities. We are the largest portion of the LGBTQIA+ acronym after all, so let's turn up and be seen this Bi Visibility Day!
Sip on limited-edition bi+ themed cocktails with part proceeds going directly to Bi+ Community Perth, helping us to keep creating spaces for our community all year round. Thanks to Bar Love who have generously supported us in putting on this event. They've just won the WA Good Food Guide Bar of the Year award for 2025, so you know this will be good!
This is a licensed venue, so 18+ only. We encourage you to bring along those important friends and allies in your life - if they are a positive part of your bi+ journey, they should be part of the celebration too!

Don't be, we are a very welcoming bunch, but feel free to bring along the important friends or allies in your life if you're feeling nervous, the more the merrier!
Is this a dating event?
No, this is about coming together and celebrating as a community of multi-gender attracted people in Perth. So meet, chat and connect with new people who have similar experiences to your own, but ensure all interactions are consent based. We recognise that bi+ folks can sometimes be fetishised, so we will have a zero tolerance for predatory behaviour. If anyone makes you feel uncomfortable at any time, people let one of the event hosts or bar staff know.
I don't drink, or I have dietary requirements, can I still come?
Yes! There are plenty of drink options, with or without booze, including beer, wine, cocktails, mocktails, non-alcoholic beers and soft drinks. Bar Love also has a range of delicious bar snacks that include gluten free, dairy free, nut free and vegan options, with full meals also available. A bit tight for money?
Entry is free, so you'll only need to pay for your food or drinks. Bar snacks such as chips start at $10, with more substantial food such as pies at $14 or a curry meal at $24 if you want to eat while you're there. Cocktails are priced at $20-$23 but wines and beers will be cheaper and well priced by Perth standards, with non-alcoholic beers priced at $11 and mocktails at $15. You'll also find a limited-edition bi+ themed cocktail special available which will have part proceeds going directly to Bi+ Community Perth, so if you come for one drink, make it that one!
Unsure how to get there?
Bar Love is very central, and about a 15-20 minute walk up William Street or Lake Street from the Perth Train Station or Busport at Yagan Square to Brisbane Street (1.3km), or you can catch buses 950, 960 or 980 to a bus stop on William street just after Ruth Street to save yourself some of the walk. There is plenty of parking on Brisbane Street, or additional street parking on nearby streets. Please don't drink and drive.
What about accessibility?
This event is intended for all, and the venue is on a single level without steps. If you have any specific accessibility needs please reach out to us so we can find a way to help accommodate you.
Covid Conscious or Immune Compromised?
This venue has both indoor and outdoor seating in the open air, so you can choose to sit outside if you prefer. Also feel free to wear a mask to protect yourself if you're in a high risk category for covid and other infections. Always practice good hand hygiene, and please only come to events if you're feeling well.
This event is a whole-venue takeover, so there's no need to RSVP to reserve a seat, but get in early to find your seat at the bar! RSVPs and sharing this event help us get the word out, but note that this is a public event where others can see your RSVP. Feel free to just turn up if that's more comfortable.
