BHP Traditional Owners' Forum 2026

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners and Cultural Knowledge Holders of the land on which we work and live. We recognise their continuing connection to the land and waterways, and we pay respect to Elders past and present.

BHP invite up to three (3) representatives from your Traditional Owner group to participate in the next Traditional Owners' Forum to be held in Meanjin (Brisbane) from the 28 - 30 July 2026. This year BHP are offering the opportunity for an up-and-coming leader within your Traditional Owner group to attend the Forum in addition to the usual two (2) representatives, all attendees are required to be over the age of 18 years.

The Forum will begin on Tuesday 28 July with an optional Cultural walking experience through Magandjin - Brisbane CBD , operated by Blackcard. Followed by a Welcome Dinner at 6:00pm

To confirm the attendance of your nominated representatives, please ensure they have registered via the link no later than Friday 12 June. Approved registrations will be contacted post review.
