Artificial intelligence (AI) is already reshaping how political institutions operate internally and engage externally. This panel discussion will explore the opportunities and risks that AI presents for the conduct of parliamentary business in Queensland, including its potential to enhance legislative processes and public engagement and the challenges it poses for transparency and accountability.
Hayden Johnson, State Political Editor for The Courier Mail, will be moderating the panel discussion with the following panel of experts:
- James Rasmussen, Head of IT – Queensland Parliament
- Brittany Turner, Executive Support Officer – Legislative Council, Parliament of Victoria
- Caitlin Connally, Research Officer – Legislative Assembly, Parliament of Victoria.
