Take me home country roads! This will be the first tour in West Virginia for Bike Hope Love (Formerly Pedaling Parsons). Enjoy the beauty of the Appalachian Mountains and the New River Gorge, the friendships, and the challenges of the ride. There will be some significant climbs, but still just 60% of our Blue Ridge Parkway ride in 2021. You can do it! And if you need a break, hop in the sag van. This fully supported ride includes a lunch stop and 2 refueling/hydration stops along the way.Overnights will be in churches so you will need to pack air mattresses and sleeping gear along with your personal items.
OUR MISSION 2025 – We are riding to raise money for the Children & Youth Programs at South Street Ministries in Akron, OH. South Street’s Youth Programming provides many ways to give kids positive direction including open gym with meals, a tutoring program, and ways for kids to help fix up used bikes and earn one for their own use. Cyclists are encouraged to raise funds and donate to our mission.
Cost for the tour is $250 plus cost of your own evening meals and meals while traveling to and from WV. Send a check for $250 to “Bike Hope Love” 14415 Osborne Ave. NE. Alliance, Ohio 44601 or check with Pastor Scott Low if you would prefer Venmo or Cash App.
