Bhakti Bliss Kirtan has a unique style which transports you to a deep devotional place in your heart, while also inspiring you to get up and dance and express your joy and bliss for life! Kirtan is the joyful expression of Bhakti Yoga, the yoga of devotion, and it’s one of the easiest ways to open your heart and feel your love connection to all of everything!Cheryl Chaffee is the group's founder- she has been leading kirtan at yoga studios, churches, temples, community centers and sacred spaces around the world since 2009, including festivals such as the Rasa Lila Fest, the Tampa Indian Music Festival, Aqueous Festival, Wonderfruit, Lovelight Festivals, Shakti Rising Goddess Festival, Sangha Fest, and Zen Awakening Festival. Cheryl’s angelic voice and grounded energy is personal, inspiring, and transformative.
Each band member brings their unique artistry to the group, creating a multi-dimensional sound experience. The combined vibrations lift you up and help you attune to your own inner resonance, as well as connect with the frequencies of the Divine. Audience participation is encouraged! Before you arrive:
We warmly invite you to arrive at least 10 minutes early so you can settle in and fully enjoy the experience. Our events and classes begin and end on time to honor everyone’s practice. To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all attendees, presenters, and staff, doors will be closed at the scheduled start time. Late arrivals will not be able to enter once doors are closed, so we encourage you to plan to arrive a little early.
All reservations for Black Cat Yoga workshops and events are for the specific date purchased and are nonrefundable. In the rare case that a workshop or event is canceled by us, you will receive a full refund. Please note that absences or late arrivals cannot be refunded.
