Benton Harbor Arts Association Presents Open Stage - The 2025 NEW YEAR EDITION! With special host Audrey “Chef Audy” Peeples
Audy is a member of the BHAA Board. She’s also a known area Chef and business owner. In addition, she’s also one of the founding members and Drummer/Percussionist for the local band SANKOFA!

We also encourage those who are part of an ensemble or have instruments that need to be set-up and microphone into the house sound, to please arrive at this time as well.

The BHAA is excited to start off the new year with a new-found energy and brand for OPEN STAGE! We are looking to create a stage atmosphere to be enjoyed by all.
Benton Harbor Arts Association Open Stage is an evening for our local talent to shine! We welcome all singers, instrumentalist, dancers, ensembles, comedians, magicians and more!
This event is meant to showcase those seeking to build their performance skills and stage presence. It’s also a great way to NETWORK with other artists.
We ask the performers to please present respectful material, as we offer a family oriented environment and invite all forms of art, yet not at the expense of others with improvisation, politics or controversial material.
We encourage a polite open-minded audience, although there is NO CHARGE to attend, we do invite you to order some real good food, craft beer, or consider making a donation to the Benton Harbor Arts Assocition and enjoy an evening of local talent!
