This band is a long-time favorite of our audience, having performed at many concerts and festivals for 40+ years. Led by its wise and witty lead singer and songwriter, Ron Thomason, the quartet presents bluegrass in the best tradition: classics and originals, gospel and cowboy songs, heartfelt lilts of equine love, and galloping instrumentals. With impeccable timing, social commentary, catchy lyrics, and song choice from the oldest traditions, Dry Branch Fire Squad is one of the most entertaining bands in bluegrass.
