Join us for an elevated evening celebrating sustainable style, designer finds, and conscious fashion. Browse thoughtfully curated pieces, connect with fellow fashion lovers, discover premium cannabis, and give beautiful clothing a second life.
This swap is hosted by our Swap Ambassador, Jill
Jill is an NYC-based costume designer, wardrobe stylist, sewing instructor, and community organizer with a passion for creativity and connection. She upcycles clothing, works across theater and film, and has extensive experience producing events, art pop-ups, and community clothing swaps. A dedicated humanitarian and avid traveler, Jill is committed to using art, sustainability, and service to bring people together and make a positive impact.
What to Bring
We’re creating a curated shopping experience, so please bring pieces that reflect quality, style, and are in excellent condition, gently used items you would gift a friend.
Especially Desired:
• Gently worn contemporary or designer clothing
• Natural fabrics such as linen, silk, cotton, cashmere, wool, and leather
• High-quality denim
• Unique one of a kind pieces
• Handmade and artisan samples
• Handbags and exceptional accessories
• All shapes and genders welcome
Every item should be freshly cleaned, free of stains, odors, tears, missing buttons, or needed repairs.
Bring a bag!
Clothing tip: wear form fitting tank tops or shorts underneath to lessen exposure when trying on clothes. (Optional)
Please leave these at home
To keep the swap curated, we kindly ask that you do not bring:
• Heavily worn items
• Clothing with stains, holes, pilling, or damage
• Items better suited for donation
• Undergarments, swimwear, shoes, or socks
• Costume jewelry or heavily worn accessories
Our goal is quality over quantity—think boutique closet rather than donation bin.

How it works:
Purchase a ticket for the event or join the Swap Society and swap till you drop with the "shopping pass". Members unlock unlimited swapping every day at bff dispensary and other perks. Items swap one for one.
Leftover items are either saved for the next swap or donated.

Schedule:
First 20 minutes, check in and mingle with swappers, snack, shop dispensary promos and vendor mini market
Swapping begins and continues throughout the event with wrap up starting 30 minutes to end of event

Taryn Hipwell is a global speaker and healthy fashion consultant focused on transparency, circularity, and safer materials in fashion. She is the author of How to Shop for Shi(f)t and founder of the Healthy Fabric Library, an educational resource that helps consumers and brands understand the health and environmental impacts of textiles and make more informed material choices.
Sustainable Fashion Week
This free six-day event featured collections from emerging and established sustainable designers, as well as vintage collectors. More than a traditional Fashion Week, it included a virtual sustainable product lounge, expert speakers, and a platform for diverse voices to share their vision for the future of sustainable fashion. Sustainable Fashion Week is a necessity to bring awareness to the ongoing problem of fast fashion and overconsumption while providing a platform to emerging sustainable designers that we are in desperate need of.

Attire is a sustainable fashion platform documenting the new age of fashion. From community outreach and in depth research, we highlight global regulatory updates, groundbreaking innovations, greenwashing claims, brand spotlights, and major industry news via Substack and social media.
