Beyond the Veil: the unveiling of things unseen

Join us on our journey through a stunning cycle of motets by Patrick Hawes, setting texts from the biblical book of Revelation. Revelation is the unveiling, the peering behind the curtain, at the past, the present and the future. The Hawes motets will be complemented by works by other composers on similar themes - among them, Kerensa Briggs' In Media Vita, Tõnu Kõrvits' Sister Death, and William Byrd's Haec dies.

Interspersed with readings from Scripture.
