Beyond the Straight Photopolymer Print
Transform your Photographs into intaglio prints!
In this "back by popular demand" workshop, Lincoln Draper- master of rich, subtle photopolymer prints- will divulge his secrets for creating detailed, mysterious photo prints. Photo based printmaking has been around for more than a century, but advances in the creation of affordable non-toxic photo-sensitive polymer plates has made this technique more accessible to photographers and print makers alike.
Class will cover techniques for making finely calibrated transparencies from your digital images, and instructions on how to gauge exposure times to create perfect plates. Lincoln will cover basic inking techniques and then show how to create a high transparency underlayer to add a subtle color enhancement of your photopolymer prints.
Class Date: October 17-18, 2026
