Beyond the Pitch is a hands‑on intensive designed for food entrepreneurs who are preparing to enter wholesale or retail markets and want to ensure their products are positioned for long‑term success once they get there.
Rather than focusing only on the first buyer conversation, this session centers on the core decisions that impact shelf viability: pricing, margins, packaging, distribution strategy, and operational readiness. Participants will work through real-world scenarios using AFIC@MCO cost structures and retailer expectations to evaluate whether their product can maintain velocity, meet margin requirements, and adjust when performance falls short.
