FAQs
Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?
The tour is not recommended for children under 12. Baby strollers are not permitted in the gardens. Babes in arms are free.
Are pets permitted?
Pets are not permitted on the tour.
What are my parking options for getting to and from the event?
Due to the locations of the gardens, it will be necessary to park several times. Parking along the route and by each home is limited. The area of W. Second Street by Baker Park, Dill Avenue and Kline Boulevard includes larger amounts of public parking space.
We do recommend the Carroll Creek (44 E. Patrick Street), Church Street (17 E. Church Street), Court Street (2 S. Court Street) or W. Patrick Street (138 W. Patrick Street)Parking Decks as conveniently located and walk-able for much the tour. For more information on City of Frederick parking options visit click here.
Please note that all guests visiting High Glen Gardens at the home of Renee & Marvin Ausherman (6450 Christophers Crossing) will be directed to field parking that will require visitors to cross open green space that may be uneven in places.

Where is my ticket?
Your ticket is included on the back cover of your official Tour Booklet, and will be checked at each garden, so be sure to bring it along with you!
Will my ticket(s) be mailed to me?
All online ticket purchases made PRIOR to 9 AM on Monday, May 5th will be mailed to purchaser via USPS. Online tickets purchases made AFTER 9 AM on Monday, May 5th will be available for pick up at "Will Call" located at the Hospitality Center, 101 N. Court Street, on Saturday, May 17 or Sunday, May 18, Noon - 5 PM.
Are my tickets good for BOTH Saturday, May 17 & Sunday, May 18, 1 - 5 PM?

What is the difference between the General Admission Ticket and the Home & Garden Tour Package?
General Admission purchase includes admission to all the gardens featured on the 2025 Beyond the Garden Gates Tour on BOTH days of the tour. Each garden may only be visited once!
The Home & Garden Tour package includes admission to all the gardens featured on the 2025 Beyond the Garden Gates Tour on BOTH days of the tour and to all of the homes on the 2025 Candlelight House Tour on BOTH Saturday, December 6, 5 - 9 PM & Sunday, December 7, Noon - 4 PM.
What's the refund policy?
Tickets are non-refundable. In case of inclement weather tour updates will be available by calling 301-600-2841, visiting CelebrateFrederick.com or Celebrate Frederick Facebook and Instagram accounts.
