An intimate, industry first workshop for hair professionals exploring self-leadership, creative identity, mindset, mind-body-soul connection and sustainable growth.

Beyond The Chair is something I’ve wanted to create for a long time because I believe there’s a part of our industry we don’t talk about enough:

The person behind the professional.

After 20 years in the hair industry as a hair artist, educator, entrepreneur and salon owner, I know how much this career can give us but I also know how much it can ask of us.

We spend our days creating, listening, giving our energy to others, comparing, problem solving and constantly thinking about what’s next.

And somewhere amongst all of that, it can become really easy to lose connection with ourselves. I know because I’ve experienced it. My career and my life have taken me through success, failure, huge personal change, rebuilding, self-doubt and moments where I genuinely lost sight of who I was.And some of the biggest changes in my life haven’t come from achieving more.

They’ve come from learning to slow down, look inward, regulate my nervous system, change the way I speak to myself, protect my energy, set boundaries and reconnect with who I am.

That journey is a huge part of why I created Beyond The Chair.

A DAY FOR YOU.

A day away from the tools, clients and noise of the salon to reconnect with yourself mind, body and soul.We’ll explore self-leadership, mindset, creative identity, personal standards, boundaries, client attraction, confidence, comparison, personal branding and what sustainable growth actually looks like.

But this isn’t a day of sitting and listening to me talk.

We’ll move between conversation, journaling, reflection, movement, breathwork and holistic practices designed to get you out of your head and back into your body.

We’ll look at the stories you tell yourself.

The standards you accept.

The boundaries you struggle to hold.

The person you’re becoming.

The clients you want to attract.

The creative identity you want to build.

And what might be standing between where you are now and where you know you’re capable of going.
