Join us for Beyond the Break, a community-focused event dedicated to prioritizing mental health in a welcoming and supportive environment. The event offers free mental health screenings, access to local providers, and a variety of interactive workshops covering topics like therapy basics, mindfulness, trauma support, creative expression, and stress relief.

Our goal is to reduce stigma, encourage early support, and provide tools for everyday mental wellness. Through hands-on activities, reflective practices, and engaging conversations, participants can connect, learn, and grow alongside neighbors, families, and local organizations. Beyond the Break highlights the power of community, making mental health care approachable, collaborative, and rooted in connection.

All mental health screenings, resources, and workshops are pay-what-you-can. Donations are strongly encouraged. 15% of proceeds will be donated to the Third Street Alliance for Women and Children.

Info: Check in and complete your screening. Pick up raffle tickets for a chance to win, enjoy a bite, and connect with on-site therapists.

Info: Screenings run 10:15 AM–2:30 PM with a break from 12:30–1 PM. Arrive at least 30 minutes before your slot, or stay for the whole event.

Info: This workshop introduces the basics of therapy (Therapy 101), practical mindfulness techniques, and an overview of EMDR skills. Learn how these tools can support mental health, enhance self-awareness, and empower your personal growth— whether you’re starting therapy or curious about new ways to manage stress and emotions.

Info: Unwind and recharge in this interactive session featuring guided breathwork and gentle stretches designed to relieve stress. Pause for mindful reflection and engaging conversation to help you reconnect with your body, mind, and personal insights.

Info: This workshop provides a safe, supportive space to explore the impact of trauma and sexual abuse. Participants will learn coping strategies, resources for healing, and ways to build resilience, while fostering understanding and self-compassion.

Info: Tap into your creativity with collage and mixed media to decorate your own “Grateful Bowl.” Using color, words, and personal expression, you’ll create a meaningful space to collect moments of gratitude. Write down experiences, place them in your bowl, and revisit them whenever you need a boost— turning small acts of reflection into a powerful tool for positivity and mindfulness.

Info: Join us for an informative session on domestic violence (in honor of domestic violence awareness month), including signs, resources, and strategies for safety and support. The workshop concludes with a Q&A, giving participants the chance to ask questions, gain clarity, and connect with helpful resources in a safe, supportive environment.
