Beyond the Bin is an exciting intra-university competition that challenges students to transform waste into innovation while raising awareness about environmental conservation. This event provides a platform for students to showcase their creativity, talent, and commitment to a greener future through two inspiring competition segments.
🎨 Craft Segment:
Create innovative, functional, and artistic crafts using single-use plastics, reusable materials, and other waste items. Turn discarded materials into something meaningful and demonstrate how creativity can contribute to sustainability.
📷 Photography Segment:
Capture compelling photographs that highlight themes such as the environment, environmental pollution, plastic waste, sustainability, and conservation. Let your lens tell a story that inspires positive environmental action.
💡Green Campus Ideas:
Have an innovative idea to make our campus more sustainable? Submit your proposal in the form of a PowerPoint presentation (PPT) or PDF outlining your solution. Entries will be evaluated based on feasibility, environmental impact, innovation, and long-term sustainability. Shortlisted participants will be invited to present their ideas during the event, where the best proposals will be recognized and awarded.
Exhibition:
Selected participants from both segments will exhibit their work at IUB's Multi-purpose Hall on 20 & 21 July 2026, where the submissions will be displayed for visitors and evaluated by the judging panel.
🏆 Prize Giving Ceremony:
The event will conclude with the Prize Giving Ceremony on 22 July 2026, where the winners will be announced and awarded.

🥇 Champion – Photography Segment
🥈 Runner-up – Photography Segment
Winners from each segment will receive prize money and recognition for their outstanding work.
Certificates:
All selected participants whose work is exhibited will receive a Certificate of Participation.

Interested students must complete the official registration form to participate. The form will be shared through the club's Facebook page.
