Beyond the Ballot: A Post-Election Torah Study Session, with Shel Maala

The Nehar Shalom adult education committee, in cosponsorship with Kavod, is proud to welcome in Shel Maala, an online queer Yeshiva, for an evening of post-election Torah learning.

Join your fellow congregants and visiting superstar Torah teachers, Xava and Binya, as we dive into some engaging text, to ground us in our eternal tradition, no matter what the results bring.

Open to learners of all levels. If you've never cracked open a Talmud, or never studied the Torah in depth - you are welcome! No pre-reqs, no alef-bet required, all texts provided in both Hebrew and translation.

Taught by Shel Maala's Rosh Yeshivas, Rabbi Xava de Cordova and Binya Kóatz. Coming into us from San Francisco and Providence, RI, just to teach!

This is geared toward the communities of Nehar Shalom and Kavod, but all are welcome.
