Meet spot will be at the Chevron Gas Station at Wild Horse Pass. (5139 Wild Horse Pass Blvd) Please roll in between 8am and 820am as we will be on the road at 830am after a brief drivers meeting.
We will take, as much as we can, a "non-I10" approach this time and look for a more scenic route to the mountain. Taking the I10 to AZ-387 just enough to get to the AZ-87 S, Jog around a few turns through a small town to end up on the AZ-79 S. From there we will get on the AZ-77 S until we meet up with the I10 again (briefly) and get on the I19 S to the AZ-86 W. The AZ-386 S Will take us to the top of the Mountain where we will enjoy some great views of the valley and/or take a tour of the observatory!!
We will be meeting up for lunch at Nico's Taco Shop (15270 W Ajo Hwy, Tucson, AZ 85735) before heading up the mountain.
