Beyond Beginner's Sewing - 6 Week Workshop

Welcome to Beyond Beginner's Sewing with Patterns — a class designed for students who already have basic sewing machine skills, such as sewing a straight seam.

This class runs for 6 weeks, meeting every Tuesday from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

In this class, students will work with patterns from trusted brands like Simplicity, McCall's, Butterick, or patterns found online. After the first class, each student will choose their own personal project to work on at their own pace.

Students are responsible for furnishing their own fabric and notions for their personal projects, including buttons, zippers, interfacing, and fabric.

I have been sewing over sixty years and have been teaching sewing for over 45 years.

I believe you learn by doing, so all of my classes include sewing and finishing a project.

I believe sewing should be fun and relaxing, taking your time to enjoy your sewing as your project comes together.
