Between the Trees: Mindful Parenting with Nature Event

Join Earth Child New England and Green River Doula Network for a collaborative offering for early postpartum families with children in the 0-2 years age range. We will have a babywearing demonstration followed by a Q&A, connect in community on a short nature walk, practice mindfulness and yoga as a group, and end with a doula facilitated parents' circle. (Stay after to explore the park, enjoy a snack or lunch, and connect with other families in the community. If it is hot, there is a splash pad at Groff Park- yay!)

Suggested Ages: Parents and children 0–2 years, older siblings are welcome

📍 Meeting Spot: Down the hill on the left side of the playground under the pavilion.
What to bring: snacks, water, sunscreen, bug spray, a yoga mat or blanket to sit on, and whatever your little one may need for time spent outdoors. Dress for the weather and prepare for bugs.
What to expect: This is a family event, and parent/caregiver participation is required. Children of all developmental levels and abilities are welcome. Amenities: Groff Park offers public bathroom facilities adjacent to their playground.
A diaper changing station and nursing tent will be setup - hosted by Yellow Rose Birth Services.
