Between The Notes: A Night of Jazz on Vinyl listening sessions returns to The Cellar on Treadwell, Thurs, 4/23 at 7pm. This all vinyl series hosted by DJ Ben Lovejoy will feature special guest, New Haven’s Heavy Sound & Vision. They will be exploring the intersection of Jazz, Funk and Hip Hop.
The mixes will touch on everything from Post Bop to Boom Bap. Jazz roots have expanded through Hip Hop and will be highlighted with selections played exclusively on vinyl by Lovejoy and HSV.
Grab some delicious food from Jam City Pizza, a cold drink from the bar and find your perfect groove!
