Join us for a powerful women-only seminar exploring the du’as of remarkable women in Islamic history from Maryam (AS) to Hajar (RA) and how their supplications led to life-changing outcomes.

Through these stories, we’ll reflect on the unique connection a woman has with Allah and explore the moments where her du’a carries special weight including motherhood, pregnancy, hardship, and times of vulnerability.

You’ll also gain practical guidance on how to stay spiritually connected and strengthen your du’a in every stage of life, including during menstruation.

This is more than a talk it’s a space to reflect, reconnect, and rediscover the power of your du’a.

The Teacher

Ustadha Ameena Blake is a teacher, writer, and mentor dedicated to helping Muslims build a meaningful and personal relationship with Allah. With a passion for spiritual growth and inner transformation, her work focuses on strengthening faith, understanding Allah’s Names and Attributes, and cultivating sincerity in worship and daily life.

She has taught in a variety of educational and community settings, delivering classes, workshops, and retreats that make Islamic knowledge accessible, practical, and relevant to modern challenges. Known for her reflective and heart-centred approach, she supports students in developing a deeper connection with the Qur’an, du’a, and purposeful living.

Through her teaching and outreach, Ustadha Ameena continues to inspire individuals—especially women and young Muslims—to nurture their spiritual well-being and live with greater clarity, resilience, and devotion.

*** IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE READ ***

Attending With Children: Due to the nature of the seminar, it can be quite frustrating for young children, therefore we advise that you do not attending with children or babies younger than the age of 7 years old. If you do attend with young children of any age, please keep them with you at all times. If your child becomes restless and makes a lot of noise which disturbs other attendees or the teacher, we will regretably have to ask you to leave.

Seating is on a first come first served basis. As this is a free event, we will need to register more attendees than we can acutally seat in the venue. The reason we need to do this is because at least 2/3 of the people who register to attend free Islamic seminars and events usually drop out and don't attend on the day. If you want to ensure you have a seat at the event, we strongly advise that you turn up on time. Once the venue has reached maximum capacity we will not be able to let you enter, even if you have family or friends inside already.

Food And Refreshments: You are welcome to bring your own food, snacks and drink with you, we will also try to have some available for purchase but can not gaurantee this.

Salah Arrangments: Women can pray in the Maryam Centre

Fundraising: This event is being organised by the charity ILM (International Learning Movement) in order to support the work they do around the world there will be a short fundraising segment.

EVENT RULES:

1. Strictly no video or audio recording is allowed.

2. Seating will be segregated / sister only - and is on a first-come, first-served basis.

3. Organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or evict any individual or group at any time at the organisers discretion.
