A cabaret featuring the return to our stages of the incomparable songstress Betty J, with musical accompaniment by Benjamin Violet! Doors open for seating at 6:00 p.m. and the show begins at 7:00 p.m.A note from the Artists:
“Betty & Benjamin are the pairing of your cabaret dreams. Heading back to where it all started, Great Escape Stage Company, we are using music to make our voices heard. With a setlist that inspires hope and sheds light on some fears; this is a show you don’t want to miss. “Songs from the Heart” will explore themes of resistance, joy, and rebellion all while actively raising money for charity.”
(Since Great Escape is located in the heart of Marshall’s Social District, we heartily suggest visiting one of the fine establishments on main street that serve alcohol and procuring a Social-District-approved glass of liquid refreshment to bring to the show. We LOVE Maria’s Uncorked – just two doors down from GESC. She features Wine Slushies, Mulled Wine, and a sparkling array of Michigan-made wines! And, because of the Social District and Michigan’s Liquor laws, we cannot allow BYOB at any GESC sponsored event. Thanks!)
