Join us for a Preview Party that is out of this world as we celebrate the opening of “Betty & Barney.” The exhibition will, of course, cover their tale of alien abduction and subsequent influence on pop culture, but the Hills’ impact reaches far beyond the extraordinary events of that night. Learn about their roles as Portsmouth residents, civil rights activists, and community leaders.
Our curatorial and exhibitions team will be stationed throughout the gallery to give insight into who the Hills were and their influence on how America thought of aliens for decades to come.
