Following the success of our recent BetterMan charity T20 cricket match against Prime Minister Chris Luxon, All Blacks Will Jordan, Colin Slade and more, we’re now turning our attention to football.Once again we'll be assembling sides stacked with current and former sports stars from Black Caps to All Whites, Commonwealth Games wrestlers to Black Sticks.
Entry is free, and we encourage families to come down with their children as we'll have kids games happening on the practice pitch and will look to play a kids vs adult game.
We'll have donation buckets to raise funds for Centre Circle - a Canterbury football charity that raises funds to support the local football community, particularly helping young players and clubs with financial assistance.
We are hoping to have a BBQ and ice cream truck on site too, so keep an eye on this event page as we confirm those details in the coming weeks.
