Betsiefest is June 27th! The festival is located at the usual and always beautiful Sauvie Island farmland at 14700 NW Gillihan Road. This gathering is an outdoor event located on a good friend's private farm.
Essence: Betsie Och was our friend, a mother, daughter, sister, partner, and a loving spirited woman! We’ve organized and offered a music and family gathering in her honor since her death from cancer in 2010. Every year we celebrate with music, food, hugs, and smiles. This event is grassroots, donation-based, no-drama, and family-friendly. As such, your close, like-minded friends and family are welcome.

We collect donations of which proceeds are given to a beneficiary in the community. The beneficiary this year is Growing Gardens, an Oregon based 501(c)3 nonprofit growing food in schools, backyards, and correctional facilities to cultivate healthy and equitable communities. https://www.growing-gardens.org/

Note: In general, be prepared picnic-style. Bring your own food, water, plus snacks and beverages to share! Bring your own chairs, blankets! Leave no trace! Be responsible in your behavior and your impact. Pack in your supplies and pack out ALL waste / recycling.
Doors open at 1pm.
Music starts at 2:45pm.
Food for purchase (only while supplies last): Savvy Food Company. Their food offering is for-purchase only while supplies last on Saturday! (no Sunday breakfast this year). Pack in and pack out all containers and waste.
Leave No Trace: The event is a pack-in, pack-it-out event, so please plan accordingly to carry out all trash you generate.
Camping: Overnight car camping is available and we ask for additional fundraising contribution to camp. Bring headlamps and set up LED lanterns/glow for maximum effect. Park in the back 40, set up your camp, and relax with us. Plenty of space for a cool community of campers.
Weather: Betsiefest is rain-or-shine.
Dogs: Fully leashed only and be responsible!
