A special fundraising event to support the rebuild of the Bethells Beach Surf Life Saving Patrol clubhouse ‘Te Wharewaka’.In the wake of Cyclone Gabrielle, which devastated half of the Surf Club’s building and swept away much of the surrounding land, our local lifesavers have their hand up calling on the community to rescue and help them rebuild. It is not just walls and roofs, but hope, strength, and resilience.
This is more than a fundraiser – it's a lifeline.
The evening will raise vital funds for the construction of Te Wharewaka, the Patrol’s new purpose-built clubhouse. Once completed, this facility will be more than a surf club; it will be a critical hub for Surf Life Saving, Civil Defence, and Search & Rescue operations, serving the local community and thousands of
visitors who cherish the wild beauty of Bethells Beach.
