Wings! We love 'em. And we want to find out who can make the BEST wings around. Just Jackie’s is hosting the annual Pontiac Wing Cook-Off. Anyone can enter—you don't have to live in Pontiac. There is no fee to enter, and everyone is invited to come out and taste all the wings you can handle for a fee and then vote on your very favorites. Proceeds will go to the Pontiac Fireworks. Winners will receive awards and bragging rights!
Anyone enterting the contest should deliver prepared wings (as many as you would like—we have had nearly 100 samplers in the past, so the more your bring the more folks can taste) to Just Jackie’s by 12:30 PM on Saturday. (Wings will not be cooked on site. Please bring them already cooked and in a crockpot or some type of warming dish.) Please provide a serving utensil for your wings. Soft drinks, beer and wine will be available for purchase. The kitchen will also be open as usual.
Enjoy live music by Half Step Down beginning at 1 PM. 🎶
