Joey Eppard: Vocals & Guitar
Joey is one of the best vocalists in the Hudson Valley and is a well known recording artist and songwriter. In addition to his solo work, he is the lead vocalist and guitarist for the experimental/progressive rock band, “3.” Aside from performing solo, Joey also lends his powerful vocal range and presence to a wide assortment of bands including the Steely Dan tribute band “Reeling In The Years” and “Paper Sun.”
Leslie Ritter: Vocals
Leslie is an accomplished vocalist and songwriter whose earthy, evocative voice has been praised by fans and critics alike. Along with former singing partner Amy Fradon, their song “Take Me Home” placed two singles on the Billboard charts. Leslie later spent many years performing with partner Scott Petito; together they recorded three highly acclaimed CDs. Leslie is a well respected session singer who has appeared on recordings with many artists including Dr. John, Rick Danko, Livingston Taylor and was recently featured on The Avalanches’ number 1 album “Wildflower.”
Scott Petito: Bass & Music Director
Scott is an award-winning composer, producer and engineer. He is a gifted bassist and multi-instrumentalist who has performed on hundreds of recordings in many musical styles. Along with being a long-term member of “The Fugs,” Scott has become particularly well known for his work in the folk and jazz genres, working with such musicians as James Taylor, Pete Seeger, The Band, Jack DeJohnette, Don Byron, Dave Brubeck, Chick Corea, Roy Haynes, John Scofield and hundreds of other leading musicians in jazz and popular music. Scott has released two very well received jazz CDs, accompanied by an impressive group of musicians on both. “Rainbow Gravity” and his followup recording, “Many Worlds,” contain Scott’s original compositions and have included top pick songs of the year by many important critics and reviewers.
Jeff Mercel: Drums & Percussion
Jeff is a multi-instrumentalist and composer. Jeff was a member of the band “Mercury Rev” for many years, which is when he got his first opportunity to write for picture, composing and producing original scores. Jeff recently released his first full length, solo release, “Lunescapes Volume One.” Jeff is an active session musician and current member of Miracle Whips and the improvisational group known as “Ultraam.” Jeff is also the former National Director of Music for O+, a national non-profit, based in Kingston, NY that works to provide musicians and visual artists with access to health care.
Adam Widoff: Guitar
Adam is a talented multi-instrumentalist who can be found playing guitar with Toshi Reagon and Big Lovely and with P-Funk veterans Clip Payne, Lige Cury and Gary Shider in a vicious unit called “Drugs.” He has studied Indian music extensively and was a student of sitar master Ustad Jamaluddin Bhartiya. Adam has spent time as the guitarist Lenny Kravitz during the ‘Let Love Rule’ era. Other credits include Memorial Garage, Karl Denson, Mercury Rev, Marc Copely, David Torn and many live and studio appearances.
Danny Blume: Guitar
Danny is a Grammy- and Juno award-winning music producer, mixer, engineer, musician and recording studio owner. At the age of 8 he heard The Beatles, picked up a guitar and never looked back. He has played in a wide assortment of bands in various genres of music. He toured and recorded with Kid Creole and the Coconuts for over ten years. He has toured, performed and recorded with countless artists, including Iggy Pop, The Lounge Lizards, Jill Sobule, Level 42, Medeski, Martin Wood, Jewel, Lisa Loeb as well as leading his own bands.
Kendra McKinley: Vocals & Keys
Kendra is a multi-talented musician and visual artist, equally adept on guitar and keyboards with a voice that sounds like tuned honey. Her music braids sensuality, levity and polish. Whether she’s casting spells with her looping pedal or fronting a dynamic band, her live shows are an invitation to swerve and swoon to her grooves.
