Join us for an amazing week of music!The 90s were one of music’s most important decades as grunge and alternative music took over the airwaves and popular culture. Come celebrate bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Green Day, Weezer and many more in our Best of the 90s music camp. Students will spend Monday through Friday learning and practicing songs from the 90s, all culminating in a live performance. Great for students 7-18 years old who have had some previous instruction.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
Schedule
1. Camp runs Monday - Thursday from 9am-3pm.
2. Campers will report to Steamworks Creative Community Center on Friday for their camp performance. Show details, times, etc will be emailed to parents closer to the date.
3. Drop off is no earlier than 10-mins before the start of the day
4. Pick up is no later than 10-mins after the end of the day
5. Each day will consist of rehearsal time, practice time and fun games/activities
What to Bring?
1. Campers must bring their own lunch Monday-Thursday.
2. It is recommended all students bring a water bottle.
3. Guitarists must bring their own guitar and/or bass, straps, picks, extra strings
4. Drummers must bring their own drumsticks
5. Ear plugs
6. Device (like a phone or tablet). Your students will need them to access their songs for the week!
