A celebration of our incredible Steamboat Springs communityand launch of the Best Day Ever Fund!
The donor- advised fund held by the Yampa Valley Community Foundation , set up in memory of Pete Van De Carr , will help youth have their own B est D ay E ver.
The fest will feature…
• LIVE MUSIC by Flattops Band + Tyree Woods & Friends Feat, Eric Baker, Tyler Caine & Tim Shcuett + Heads All Empty
• Door prizes
• The debut of Best Day IPA, with all proceeds going to the Best Day Ever Fund
• Food and beer specials including individual-size “Pete”-‘zas
Everyone is encouraged to live like Pete and have your BEST (three-sport) DAY EVER, then celebrate at Mountain Tap with friends, family and the community!
Need some three-sport day ideas? We’re so lucky to have a bounty of options within blocks of Backdoor Sports/ Mountain Tap!
• Bike the core trail or Emerald Mountain… Wheels Bike Shop is offering bike rental discounts all day!
• Skate at Howelsen Ice Arena… the rink is offering free skating from 1:15 to 2:45 p.m .
• Fish the Yampa…
• Gather friends for a game of kickball or volleyball at Howelsen Park…
• Shred the concrete on your skateboard at the Howelsen Skate Park…
• Take a hike up Emerald Mountain…
Can’t fit in three sports before the Best Day Ever Fest? We’ll have cornhole set up on the Mountain Tap patio to complete your day!
