Cruise Nites Bring Classic Cars, Community, and Lasting Memories
“Cruise Nites continue to be one of the most welcoming traditions in Berwyn,” said Berwyn Mayor Robert Lovero. “Each event brings neighbors together to enjoy classic cars, great food, and the energy of our Depot District. It’s a simple, fun way for families and car enthusiasts to connect.”
Each Cruise Nite features a unique theme, and attendees can enjoy a wide variety of classic and custom cars, all while supporting Berwyn’s local businesses. Restaurants, cafés, and bars throughout the Depot District offer special deals and welcoming atmospheres.
“I love seeing the excitement Cruise Nites brings to the Depot District,” said Michelle Fernandez, owner of Media Noche Café. “People stop in before or after checking out the cars, and it creates a wonderful sense of community. We get people from miles away, and it’s a highlight of the summer for our customers and our staff.”
A Passion for Cars Becomes an Unforgettable Tradition
Cruise Nites also foster cross-generational experiences for car lovers and families alike.
“Cruise Nites are a chance to share the stories behind our cars,” said David Cutler, a Cruise Nite participant in 2025. “Whether you built it, restored it, or just love driving it, there’s always someone who wants to talk shop. It’s a community built around a passion and love for cars.”
As historic Route 66 celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2026, Cruise Nites offer a unique way for visitors to appreciate Berwyn’s long‑standing connection to car culture, deep ties to automotive history, and local community pride.
