Berry Colander Pottery Wheel Workshop

Work with an experienced potter on the pottery wheel to create a Berry Colander with step by step instructions. Add a spout to your piece, and we’ll add draining holes once it dries. You will learn how to center 3 pounds of clay, and the basics of throwing pottery on the wheel. Add your own shape to create a unique piece of pottery. After the workshop, your vase will take time to air dry, and then be fired in our kiln.
Admission includes a return visit after 2 weeks to paint your pottery in your own style with colorful pottery glazes. Then it goes into the kiln again for a final firing, and ready 2 weeks after you painted it. Your piece will be dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe. Ages 10 and up.
Admission: $68 per person, includes 1 return visit to paint with glazes.
