Join us for an unforgettable Hobby Horse Event at Berriewood Farm, set in the beautiful countryside of Condover, Shrewsbury. This exciting family‑friendly event takes place on Sunday 3rd May 2026 and promises a full day of fun, competition, creativity and community for children of all ages and abilities.

🌟 A Fun‑Filled Hobby Horse Competition for Everyone
This hobby horse competition is designed for complete beginners through to confident competitors. With show jumping, mounted games, barrel racing, dressage and creative classes such as Best Turned Out, there truly is something for every hobby horse enthusiast.
We proudly welcome children with disabilities and neurodiversity, and we are always happy to help make reasonable adjustments where possible. Please speak to us in advance if you need support on the day.
🕙 Event Timings & What to Expect
Check‑in opens at 10:00am, where riders will collect their number and warm up ahead of their classes. If you are not competing in the early classes, you may check in later in the day.
There will be two competition rings running throughout the day, offering jumping, speed and creative challenges, plus a charity raffle and a Star of the Day Award.
🍔 Food, Seating & Facilities
A food van will be on site all day, offering hot food and refreshments for families.
✅ Please note: this is an outdoor event and families must bring camp chairs to sit on throughout the day. Seating is not provided and this is essential for comfort.

On‑site equestrian play area
Trade stalls selling hobby horses, jumps and accessories
Café facilities at Berriewood Farm
⚠️ Dogs are not permitted at this venue. Assistance dogs may attend by prior arrangement only.
💷 Pricing & Booking
Entry fee: £10 per child
Classes: £10 per class (rosette or medal for every competitor, placings to 10th)
Discounted class packages available, including an unlimited class option with a free loan pony
Parents and non‑participating siblings attend free of charge.
🛑 Important Information
This is a parent‑supervised event. Hobby Horse Adventures provides the activities but accepts no liability for accidents or theft. A trained first aider and DBS‑enhanced safeguarding lead will be on site. Drop‑off‑and‑go options may be available by prior arrangement.
