Christina and Scott have had a very difficult time this past year. After receiving an unexpected diagnosis of breast cancer, Christina has undergone surgeries and treatments causing her to be out of work for nearly 6 months. At the same time, Scott had a major health crisis resulting in a non-optional life saving surgery to avoid becoming septic due to intestinal issues. Without disability benefits, the family has exhausted their savings & cashed out their 401K accounts to keep the family afloat and make sure their children have everything they need. And the battle isn’t over. Scott is going to require another surgery that will require another 12 weeks of recovery. They have struggled with the idea of reaching out for help, but are in desperate need of it.
