Join Berkshire Environmental Action Team (BEAT) online or in person for the December 2025 Berkshire Green Drinks event to talk with Berkshire Environmental Action Team staff about BEAT’s important work of this past year and the work coming up for us in 2026 as we carry on the legacy of former Executive Director Jane Winn — with her as our #1 volunteer!
Learn from BEAT’s new Executive Director, Brittany Ebeling, about the transition of BEAT’s leadership and our new vision statement. Plus, meet the newest member of the team, Melanie McCarthy, BEAT's new Deputy Director!
BEAT staff will share program updates from No Fracked Gas in Mass, Breathe Easy Berkshires, and the Berkshire Zero Waste Initiative, along with highlights from our educational and stewardship programming, zombie pipeline updates, and more.
This is a HYRBID event, with an in-person gathering at BEAT’s Environmental Leadership and Education Center with drinks and light refreshments, as well as a livestream presentation on Zoom.

What is Berkshire Green Drinks? Berkshire Green Drinks is an informal gathering on the second Wednesday of the month that is free and open to everyone with any environmental interest. A guest speaker talks about an environmentally-related topic for approximately 30 minutes beginning at 6 PM; the presentation is followed by a discussion and Q&A. The drinks aren’t green but the conversations are. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join and bring along questions!
These free educational events are organized by Berkshire Environmental Action Team. BEAT is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit located in Pittsfield, MA. They work with the community to protect the environment for wildlife in support of the natural world that sustains us all.
