About this Event
If you're an artist or creative business owner based in the Berkshire area, this event is for you.
I'm Helen, an illustrator based in Reading and I have connected with a fantastic range of diverse creatives in Berkshire over the 10 years that I have lived here, and I wanted to create a space that we can come together to connect, collaborate and be inspired.
This first networking event will be an opportunity to meet other creatives in the Berkshire area, enjoy a talk from horticulturalist Kendall from Adventures with Flowers, and enjoy some delicious hot drinks and pastries.

An engaging session hosted by Kendall Marie Platt that explores the reasons we struggle to prioritise our wellbeing and offers practical horticultural therapy based solutions for year round burnout prevention.
About Our Speaker
Kendall Marie Platt is a Horticultural Therapist and space holder for garden curious women based near Reading, Berkshire, UK.
She is the founder of Adventures with Flowers and she supports women to create their own garden sanctuary and learn to use gardening to avoid burnout.

Helen Ridley is a live illustrator for luxury brands, retailers and hospitality events.
She is the founder of Helen Ridley Illustration, painting live portraits at live events and weddings in the UK and beyond, capturing guests (and dogs!) in just 10 minutes in a fun and expressive style.
She also leads watercolour and illustration workshops for corporate clients seeking engaging team activities that boost employee wellbeing, as well as public workshops and a biannual watercolour and calligraphy retreat.
She has been Highly Commended at the Quirky Wedding Awards 2024, and featured on BBC News, Stylist Magazine, Quirky Wedding Magazine and the The Being Freelance Podcast.
